Photos: Tearful Chelsea captain John Terry tells fans in last game of the season 'i want to stay'

John Terry couldn't hold back his emotions after yesterday's match with Leicester and refused to confirm if he will stay at the club or if he will leave the club.

The Chelsea captain was initially thought to be leaving Chelsea after 26 years at the club but was offered a new one year deal by bosses at Chelsea, he hasn't confirmed if he'll accept Chelsea's offer or leave his childhood club.

While speaking in the center of the stadium as the home crowd chanted: 'John Terry, we want you to stay.', Chelsea legend John Terry said,
“ We all want the same team. I've said for a long time I want to finish my career here. I'll be speaking to the club over the next few days. I want to stay, the club knows that, the fans know that. I want to stay.”
Billionaire Chelsea Owner Roman Abramovich could be seen applauding John Terry from the stands and Terry was then thrown up in celebrations by his teammates.
“I'm delighted Leicester won it and Tottenham haven't.  This has been a difficult season. You stuck through us, as supporters, through thick and thin. We've had some great times in recent years, and you've been part of that."
"We've all accepted things have not been good enough, but we'll be back next year and we'll be fighting for this title.
“On a personal note I've liked to thank everyone as well." With tears in his eyes, Terry added: "This season has been tough for me, very emotional, so thank you for the support.
"Chelsea is my life, as it is yours. The best moments of my life have been in this stadium. You've been a big part of that. I'd like to say a big thank you to Guus Hiddink.”
